The Great Ocean Road stretches about 240 kilometres between Torquay and Allansford. It takes roughly 4.5 hours nonstop, but it’s best enjoyed over two to three days to fully experience its beaches, lookouts and charming seaside towns.
Head to Phillip Island, about 90 minutes from Melbourne, to watch the famous Penguin Parade at sunset, a magical sight as little penguins waddle ashore after a day at sea.
